Curriculum Highlights

Wyke Enrichment Programme is set out in three categories: Academic Enrichments, Whole College Enrichments, Clubs & Societies Oxbridge Programme (bespoke) Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award Directed Independent Learning (DIL) with at least 4 hours per week outside class (4 hours outside classroom; at least 2 hours directed) Four-element study programme: core curriculum, pastoral provision, enrichment, and student support Formal & Summative Assessments with status and feedback linked to the College’s online student portal Explicit teaching and regular checks for understanding (Wyke Way) including Daily Review, small steps, questioning, modelling, guided practice, and checks for understanding Daily/Weekly/Monthly review to embed learning and promote independence Independent practice and staggered progression toward mastery

Admissions Criteria

Wyke states that 2026 applications open 23 October 2025; for 2025-26, priority application window is 23 October 2025 – 22 February 2026; applications remain open after this date but applicants after the window are not guaranteed a college interview or enrolment; applications can be submitted online (Apply Online) and via Log On Move On and Lincs4u; interviews by invitation after review of application; guidance and support available; for further help contact [email protected].

Financial Information

Bursaries: Available

Wyke provides free tuition for learners who have been legally resident in the UK for the last 3 years and aged 16-18 on 31 August. Learners aged 19-23 starting their first full Level 3 qualification may be eligible for free tuition; the college may cover initial exam fees but students may be charged for retakes; other course-related expenses are course-specific; the 16–19 Bursary Fund provides a college travel pass and/or a meals allowance; bursary applications open for 2025-2026 and must include evidence; there is also a Wyke Support Fund and a cashless catering system (Upay) with trips and other activities funded by bursaries where eligible.
