Headteacher David Robinson emphasises Christ-centred education and partnership with parents to develop academically, spiritually and emotionally, within a nurturing Christian community.
Curriculum Highlights
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with emphasis on communication and language, physical development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, expressive arts and personal, social and emotional development
Blended teaching approach combining direct teaching, individualized self-learning and hands-on, practical learning with personalised instruction and online support
Years 1–6: National Curriculum-aligned learning with PSHE; topics in History, Geography, and Art and Design; Maths and Science taught using the White Rose scheme; English through engaging storybooks with a focus on reading; Bible teaching and prayer
Key Stage 3 (Years 7–8): Broad curriculum aligned to the National Curriculum, preparing students for GCSE options; subjects include Maths, English, Science, Art, Drama, PSHCE/Careers, PE, Geography, History, Religious Studies, Design Technology, Reading, Forest School/Bushcraft, Music/Worship and Bible Studies
Key Stage 4 (Years 9–11): GCSEs across Maths, English Language, English Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Art, Drama, PE and Religious Studies, with additional optional subjects through Immanuel Online School; online lessons in Computer Science, Business, History and Geography; PSHCE/Careers and Music/Worship
