Curriculum Highlights

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with three prime areas of learning: Communication and language; Physical development; Personal, social and emotional development. KS1 and KS2: form teacher with pastoral care; specialist teachers for music, PE, art, design and technology and French; visits to enrich classroom work; performances and assemblies. Years 3–6: curriculum extends beyond the national curriculum; specialist support in science, art, design and technology, music, MFL, PE and ICT; 11+ preparation and familiarisation; residential trips and broad sporting options. 11+ preparation and familiarisation sessions (Year Five and extended to Year Three); preparation for Senior School and grammar school entry. Academic Scholarships for Entry into Year 3; 11+ familiarisation sessions; preparation for Senior School and entry to grammar schools.
