Heywood Prep is open 50 weeks of the year: 7.30am – 6.00pm during term time and 8.00am – 5.00pm during school holidays. Wrap-around care includes Morning Clubs (Breakfast Club 7.30am, Early Birds Club from 8.00am), After School Clubs (with a nutritious snack), Pre-Prep Cosy Club (until 4.45pm), Homework Club (Mon-Thu), Activity Clubs (over 60 clubs throughout the year), Late After School Clubs (Mon-Thu 4.45pm – 6.00pm; Friday 4.45pm – 5.15pm), Nursery Wrap-Around Care (Breakfast Club 7.30am–8.00am; Guided Play Sessions 4.00pm–4.45pm; Late After School Clubs 4.45pm–6.00pm Mon-Thu and 4.45pm–5.15pm Fri), and Holiday Club. Admissions are open to all who meet the entry requirements, regardless of gender, race, religion, socio-economic or cultural background. Heywood Prep is mixed-ability by nature and maintains a partially selective policy for admissions. The school offers admissions for children to join in various age groups. The admissions process includes an enquiry, a bespoke tour, a registration with a £75 fee, and an offer of a place subject to reports and a meeting.
