Vale School is a leading primary school in Worthing with a rich and exciting curriculum. The Headteacher is David Tow. The school aims for every child to become a successful learner, confident individual and responsible citizen with a love of learning and the skills, knowledge and character to succeed locally, nationally and globally.
Universal Provision in line with OAIP; Targeted provision alongside universal provision; Specialist Provision; External support services including Speech and language therapists, Educational psychologists, Occupational therapists, GPs or paediatricians, School nurses, CAMHS, Education welfare officers, Social services and other LA-provided support services, Voluntary sector organisations.
Admissions are coordinated by the Admissions Department at West Sussex County Council. Vale accepts pupils from Reception year through to Year 6, and children can join at any time and in any year (subject to spaces).
School meals: KS1-2 pupils are entitled to a healthy hot meal each day free of charge. KS3-6 pupils can purchase a healthy hot lunch at a cost of £3.20. Meals must be ordered 10 days in advance. Medical diets and lifestyle can be selected at the point of ordering; medical evidence is still required for allergies. Pupils may bring in a healthy packed lunch if they would prefer.
