Curriculum Highlights

STEAM-focused curriculum with six themes: Science/Maths: Investigation; Technology: Construction; Technology: Engineering; Art; Performance Art; Global Awareness. Outdoor learning is integral; forest school site used daily across KS1 and KS2. Trips, visitors, and links with other schools in the country and abroad; Instrument lessons including piano and percussion; Choir; Specialist teaching in KS1 and KS2 weekly. Mindful Awareness and Restorative Practice; Flexibility in interpreting the National Curriculum to meet pupil needs; Chris Quigley's Essentials used for progression; Term overviews and progression PDFs provided.
