St John’s Priory School is a successful co-educational day prep school and Nursery for boys and girls aged 3–11. Admission to the school is not limited to the September intake and is flexible to the needs of families moving in to the area, or transferring from another educational setting.
Registration Fee: Reception to Year 6 – £100.00; Nursery – £50.00. If you accept a place and subsequently withdraw acceptance, the school will retain your registration fee. Deposit Fee: £1,000 to secure your child’s place in our main school from Reception to Year 6, which will be refunded when your child finishes at the school. Bursarial Support: Bursarial support is available to assist families on an individual means tested basis. Most of our recent successful bursary offers were for less than 30% – enabling the school to assist more families. Bursaries on school fees can be made available for children from our Reception class, up to year 6. The means testing process involves full disclosure of financial information. We will ask a series of questions when assessing your bursary request, alongside the financial information, and as a guideline a joint income of £60K+ will be above the threshold for a bursary. Please contact Gemma Osborne for further information – [email protected]. Childcare Vouchers: We support our working parents, using our extended school facilities, by allowing payments to be made using Childcare Vouchers. Childcare Vouchers can be used to pay towards school fees for children under five only. From the start of the academic year in which children turn 5 years old, Childcare Vouchers cannot be used to pay for school fees. Instead, they will only be accepted for chargeable, non-curricular activities that take place after school hours including: holiday clubs, after school provision and supplementary after school clubs including; Judo, football, gymnastics, musical theatre, dance and design and technology that appear separately on your fee bill. We cannot accept vouchers for school trips or residentials. SJP Fees 2025-2026 Inc VAT: Fees are subject to regular review, normally on an annual basis. All fees are due termly in advance of the first day of term. Payment can also be arranged by monthly instalments, or a year in advance. Early Fees Payment: Parents are able to pay school fees in advance. Further information is available in the leaflet below: SJP Early Fee Payment Plan.
