Curriculum Highlights

Provide a broad and balanced education for all pupils that is coherently planned and sequenced towards cumulatively acquiring knowledge for skills and future learning and employment. Enable pupils to develop knowledge, understand concepts and acquire skills, and be able to choose and apply these in relevant situations. Support pupils’ physical development and responsibility for their own health and enable them to be active. Ensure equal access to learning for all pupils, with high expectations for every pupil and appropriate levels of challenge and support. Have a high academic/vocational/technical ambition for all pupils. The Curriculum is the entire planned learning experience, including formal lessons as well as events, routines, and learning that take place outside the classroom. Our approach to the curriculum takes into account duties under the Equality Act 2010 and SEND Regulations 2014 to ensure accessibility for children with disabilities or SEND.

SEND Provision

Woodstock CE Primary School provides inclusive education with personalised interventions to enable all pupils to experience success; identifies and addresses barriers to learning, involves parents and outside professionals, and ensures collaboration with services including medical professionals, EP, OT, C&I, S&L to support pupils; Inclusion Manager (SENCo) is Janey Patino Velasquez; SEND policies and annual reports are available.
