Head Teacher's Message

Welcome to William Fletcher Primary School. We are situated at the heart of our local village community and we know that the positive and collaborative partnerships we have with our families and wider community members are key to creating the best possible environment for learning. Our purpose is to be a school where children can be the best they can be, and this ethos is embedded within our vision and demonstrated daily through our core values and aims. Our culture is one of high expectation and excellence where every child has the opportunity to unlock their potential and become confident, thoughtful and successful members of society. We encourage children to be proud of their achievements and to celebrate success in its wide variety of forms – whether it’s academic progress, creative accomplishment, sporting triumph or social and personal development. Our nurturing approach, where pupils’ wellbeing is prioritised and every child feels valued and respected, supports our children to develop and model our school values, where they take responsibility for themselves and for others – ensuring that a William Fletcher education is well-rounded, empowering and aspirational.
