Head Teacher's Message

Denton Primary is described as a small rural primary school with around 95 pupils aged 3–11, located six miles from Northampton. The message emphasizes a caring, nurturing environment, a broad and balanced progressive curriculum, and a focus on happiness and emotional security. It notes Nursery provision, wraparound care (before/after school), extra-curricular activities, two Key Stage 2 residential trips, and invites visits to the school. Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club runs from 8:00am to 8:45am. After School Club opens each school-day afternoon until 5:30pm. There are additional lunchtime/after-school clubs; some sessions may include a small meal depending on attendance.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions are managed by West Northamptonshire Council. Children become of statutory school age at the beginning of the term following their fifth birthday. The school may allow part-time attendance for the Autumn term for children whose fifth birthday falls between 1 September and 31 August. The planned admission limit into the 4+ year group is 15. Places are allocated by West Northamptonshire Council according to their booklet 'Applying for a Primary Place in Northamptonshire'. Financial Information

We currently charge £5.00 per curriculum hour and £4.00 for childcare over the lunchtime period. Children attending Nursery over lunchtime can bring a packed lunch or order a paid school meal via the ParentPay website. Children are provided with a piece of fruit for snacktime, and children under 5 are entitled to free milk which can be ordered through Cool Milk.
