Reception admissions are processed by the local Authority, Hackney Education. Full details of the admissions criteria and a copy of the admission form for Reception are available on the Hackney Education website. You must apply for your child’s school place online. Nursery admissions: Children can start Springfield Nursery in the term following their third birthday. We offer both part-time and full-time places and morning and afternoon sessions. All three and four year old children are entitled to fifteen hours of free early years education. Thirty hours of free, early education are available for some working parents. Eligibility for thirty hours can be checked online at childcaresupport.tax.service.gov.uk; eligible parents receive a unique code which must be given to the school before the closing date for applications. If not eligible for free thirty hours, a top-up fee may be available.
