Harby C of E Primary School is a Church of England primary school with a Christian ethos and strong links to the local church (the church is next door). Worship and Religious Education are integral to school life, and the school emphasises its Christian values. The school participates in Operation Encompass, a national scheme between schools and police forces.

The Headteacher welcomes families and describes Harby as a small rural C of E primary school that values community, aims to provide a caring environment and supports pupils to realise their potential through its Christian values and Route to Resilience.
Planet Play is our own Breakfast and After School Club run at school and operated by our own school staff. Breakfast Club runs before school from 7:45am (Mon-Fri) until the start of the school day. After School Club runs from 3:15pm to 6:00pm (Mon-Thu) and 3:15pm to 5:00pm on Fridays. It takes place in the dedicated 'Planet Play' room and offers a range of activities including games, creative activities, construction activities, computer activities, music, sports and physical activities and themed days/weeks. Open Monday to Friday – term time only.
