Head Teacher's Message

Welcome to Moorbrook School, we are a specialist provision for pupils aged 11 – 16 with social emotional and mental health needs. Pupils benefit from a well-balanced and personalised education delivered by an experienced and passionate team. There is a broad and engaging curriculum with purpose-built facilities, including a dedicated computer suite and outdoor learning space. The school motto is “Respect and Achieve.” The Headteacher invites visits and contact via the school office or on 01772 774752.

SEND Provision

Moorbrook's Moorbrook Individualised Provision (MIP) provides Alternative Provision and Outreach with a bespoke timetable aligned with the National Curriculum in England while addressing the individual educational, social, and emotional needs of each pupil. It includes 1:1 Tutoring, Moorbrook Staff Visits, Home Visits, Social Skills Development, and aims to prepare pupils for Post-16 Education and Adulthood. Partners include 4 Tech Motor Vehicle, Bike Mech (Motorbike maintenance), Creativity Works Preston (CWP); 1:1 Tuition Provider Partners include New Beginnings Education.pptx; Preparation for Post-16 and Adult life is tracked through exams and outcomes.
