All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal. For children in the years above this who pay, the cost is £2.50 a day or £12.50 a week. Free School Meals entitlement criteria include: Income Support; Income Based Jobseekers Allowance (IB JSA); Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999; Child Tax Credit; The Guaranteed Element of State Pension Credit; Employment and Support Allowance; Working Tax Credit (only during the 4 week period immediately after employment finishes).
