Curriculum Highlights

Phonics is taught daily in Reception and Key Stage 1; follows Red Rose Letters and Sounds. Curriculum is built around 6 Cs: Caring, Creativity, Collaboration, Character, Communication and Citizenship. Knowledge Trees (Knowledge Hands) outline the key pieces of knowledge to be learned in each year group with progression. Learning is built around meaningful and purposeful projects that link subject learning to real-life situations. Learning opportunities link to the children's interests and local area to inspire aspirations.
