Headteacher Mrs Sharon Wade welcomes families to Hilden Oaks, describing it as a small, values-based school that cultivates brilliance and aims to prepare pupils to be kind, brave and brilliant, with emphasis on 11+ and common entrance success, life skills and ongoing partnership with families.
Wrap-around care and clubs are offered out-of-hours both during term-time and in the holidays (care for children for 50 weeks of the year). During term-time, children may be dropped off from 7.45 am and may be collected up until 6.00 pm, having been given tea. A variety of after-school clubs are laid on for school-age children to wind down or do homework after the formal school day.

Admissions procedure includes Open Mornings/Personal Tours, a ‘taster day’ after a visit if a place is available, and registration with a deposit. The Registrar handles admissions and can provide next steps.
Fees are published for Nursery & Preschool (All Year Round and Termly). There is provision for Early Years Funding (EYFE) and Working Parents Funding. A deposit of £500 is required upon registering. Fees are payable by bank transfer. Universal Funding provides up to 15 hours per week for 38 weeks (term-time) or 12 hours per week for 48 weeks (all year round).
