Tonbridge is described as a leading boys’ boarding and day school that is highly regarded for a world-class education. Year 9 (13+) entry: Applicants should register by 1 September in Year 6 with a non-refundable registration fee of £350 (VAT inclusive). The school uses an ISEB Pre-Test for assessment and requests a confidential school reference; results can be an unconditional offer, a place on the wait list, or no offer. An unconditional offer may require the boy to remain at his current school. Scholarships are available (art, drama, DTE, music and sport). An unconditional admission fee of £2,250 (VAT inclusive) is payable upon accepting a place. Year 10 (14+) entry: Online registration by 1 September 2026 (late applications may be considered). International applicants sit a UKiset assessment and may be assessed at approved centers or via school report; initial assessment may lead to Maths and English entry exams; results can be unconditional, wait listed, or no offer. In February before Sept entry, pupils select IGCSE subjects; they may also participate in activities and WAA. Year 12 (16+) entry: Applications for Sixth Form; registration by 1 September 2026; must specify four A Level subjects and take an English Language Exam; international applicants may sit UKiset; results are issued in December with offers or wait list outcomes; joining Tonbridge in September 2027.
