Admissions Criteria

Ashford St. Mary’s is a two-form entry school with a published admission number of 420 and admits 60 Reception places in September after a child’s 4th birthday. Admissions are in accordance with church criteria (supplementary information form for church affiliation). Oversubscription arrangements are documented for 2026/27. There are EYFS places (60) and class sizes in Key Stage One (Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2) are not permitted to exceed 30. Applications are via KCC Online Admissions; there are procedures for In Year Admissions; appeals deadlines are provided.
