Extended School & After School Clubs; Breakfast club
Nurture classes provide the highest level of support for pupils struggling with emotional regulation, social interaction, communication and behaviour management in a protected, carefully managed environment. Pupils in these classes follow a bespoke curriculum, which includes Life Skills, Art, PSHE, Music, PE, sensory/emotional regulation and community visits alongside a more traditional academic learning, such as literacy, numeracy and thematic humanities projects.
Northcott School is a local authority maintained provision. All admissions are handled by the Local Authority after formal consultation with the Head Teacher. All places at the school are commissioned. All pupils attending the school have an Education Health Care Plan (EHC Plan) and therefore will have undergone an extensive assessment before entering the school.
