"Let Your Light Shine (Matthew 5:16)"

democracy rule of law individual liberty mutual respect tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs

Barton St Peter's is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School with the church and Christian faith playing a high profile in all that we do. We have a close relationship with the local church St Mary's and the clergy who serve our parish, and we take our distinctiveness as a church school seriously. The school engages with church communities through services, church visits, and worship led by local clergy and church partners. The school participates in Church Schools Festival (Year 6) at Lincoln Cathedral and works with the Methodist church on related community projects. The school states SIAMS inspection info (May 2023) and outlines its RE and Worldviews approach, including connections with local faith practitioners and the LAS syllabus for RE.
