Welcome to Wymondley JMI School. The Headteacher, Mrs Ally Chadwick, describes the school as a small rural school near Hitchin and Stevenage with 15 places per year group in 4 classes, offering a nurturing and inclusive education. The school aims to provide excellent opportunities and a vibrant, happy, and caring community. Visitors are warmly welcomed.
Breakfast Club runs from 8:00–8:45am in the Life Learning Room (accessible from the school field). It is bookable via the Arbor app at a cost of £5 per session and includes a breakfast of cereal or toast. After School Club is provided by 'The Cookie Club' and runs from 3:15pm to 6:15pm. From September 2025 they will be based at St Ipployts School, and Wymondley children will be transported to the club by shuttle bus. School meals are priced at £3.30 per day and must be paid in advance via Arbor. Those eligible for free school meals should apply online. All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have universal free school meals.
