Admissions Criteria

For 11+, 13+ and 16+ entry: scholarships are merit-based and awarded following an assessment (examination, audition or other appropriate method) and interview, in addition to our usual entrance examinations. The assessment takes place in the previous academic year (e.g., Year 8 for Year 9 entry). Two references (one from the pupil’s current school) and academic results from the past three years are required.

Domestic boarding: full boarding (Years 7–8, Years 9–13) and occasional boarding described; Forces boarding with CEA options; Optional extras include lunches, transport, music tuition, speech & drama, CCF, Duke of Edinburgh, rowing; payments in advance with possible discounts or schemes; Fees reviewed annually.
