Head Teacher's Message

On behalf of St. Joseph’s school community I would like to warmly welcome you to our school website. We are a thriving and happy Catholic school, providing a broad and balanced curriculum. We take a holistic approach to education; focusing on developing the whole child with Christ at the centre of all we do.

Curriculum Highlights

Curriculum is organised into subject areas as laid out in the National Curriculum (2014) for Key Stages 1 and 2 and the Early Years framework (2024). Learning is delivered through Hands – practical experiences, Head – academic thinking, and Heart – emotional connection. Subject leaders have designed progressive curriculum maps to cover key knowledge and skills from Early Years to Year 6. Curriculum is enriched by workshops, trips and residentials, and integrates community involvement.
