Breakfast club (ELM) runs from 8am each day with a range of healthy breakfast items costing £2.50 per session. If using both ELM and ASH on the same day, there is a discount rate of £5 for both sessions. After School Hub (ASH) operates after school from 3:15pm–4:15pm with up to 8 spaces per session; if four or more children need a second session (4:15pm–5:00pm), spaces may be opened up; bookings and payments are via Scopay; late fees may be incurred. Tax-free childcare may be linked via the School Office. A copy of the after-school club policy is available on request.

Admissions Criteria

Pencombe CofE Primary School has a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 8 per year group. Admissions are allocated in strict priority order: 1) Looked after children and those who were looked after in England (and, if applicable, those who ceased to be looked after due to adoption or a residence order or special guardianship order); 2) Looked after children outside England; 3) Children living within the defined catchment area; 4) Sibling connection; 5) Exceptional medical, social or compassionate grounds (with supporting documentation); 6) Distance to the school. If applications exceed PAN, the Local Authority uses these criteria in order to allocate places. The Early Years Foundation Stage starts with Nursery provision transitioning to Reception.

Financial Information

Breakfast club (ELM) £2.50 per session; If using both ELM and ASH on the same day, total £5 for both sessions. After School Hub (ASH) has 8 spaces per session; late bookings incur late fees. Hot lunches cost £2.20 per day (AiP); KS1 and KS2 eligible for Government Free School Meals; information on meals can be ordered via School Food United. Tax-free childcare may be linked via the School Office.
