"learn and succeed together for the journey ahead"
A warm welcome from Executive Headteacher Amanda Mullett. The Wildground Federation comprises a teacher-led nursery, Wildground Infant School, Wildground Junior School, and three resourced provisions, and is described as inclusive, caring, and vibrant with a child-centered approach. The message highlights a strong reading culture, engagement through visitors and themed days, extensive after-school and lunch activities, and Ofsted praise for culture, curriculum development, and outcomes. The federation emphasizes personalised learning, high expectations, and excellent facilities and grounds.
The Early Learning Group (Owls) at Wildground Federation is a joint initiative with the NHS that supports pre-school children with speech, language, and communication needs. The provision is referred and supported by an NHS therapist. We provide a high-quality, language-rich pre-school curriculum, along with tailored support programmes for children living in the Waterside and Totton areas. Children move on to a variety of partner schools in the academic year they turn five.
