Head Teacher's Message

A very warm welcome awaits you and your child at Wildground Federation. The federation comprises of a teacher led nursery (within the infant school), Wildground Infant School and Wildground Junior School and three resourced provisions. We are an inclusive, caring and vibrant federation putting the individual child at the heart of our school ensuring they become successful learners and achieve the highest standards possible.

Curriculum Highlights

Reading is at the heart of learning Phonics and early reading are prioritised in the infant school and higher level reading skills are developed in the junior school A wide range of visitors and external visits, themed days, and other first-hand experiences enrich the curriculum The school prioritises reading and language development across the federation

SEND Provision

The Early Learning Group Resourced Provision (Owls) supports pre-school children with speech, language and communication needs and is referred and supported by an NHS therapist. The SEMH & ASC Resourced Provisions (Otters, Snow Leopards and Zebras) support children with social, emotional and mental health needs and autism spectrum diagnoses; each child has an individual regulation support plan and bespoke interventions, with placements allocated by the local authority.
