Admissions Criteria

Main entry points are 11+ (Year 7), 13+ (Year 9), and 16+ (Year 12). There are a small number of places for 12+ and 14+ as well. Entry is based on recent school reports and academic references, online interview with a senior member of staff, and a deposit (UK residents £1,500; non-UK residents a term’s school fees). Offers of a place follow completion of acceptance and deposit. Assessments for 11+/13+ include English, Maths and Reasoning; 16+ includes Mayfield’s Sixth Form Entrance Assessments with three papers plus two A‑level subject papers. International admissions apply; late entry and mid-year transfers are possible with appropriate reports and references. Registration online is required; international applications are welcome; scholarship and bursary routes exist (academic, arts, sport, riding, Jubilee for Catholic pupils in the Arundel and Brighton Diocese).

Flexi-boarding: 1 evening per week £1,236; 2 evenings per week £2,412; 3 evenings per week £3,438; Occasional boarding £114 per night; Occasional Evening Care £42.
