Head Teacher's Message

A warm welcome to Beaucroft School and College. Beaucroft is a Foundation Special School and College for children and young people aged four to nineteen with learning difficulties, including complex needs and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. It offers a personalised, innovative curriculum focused on practical, community based learning to help pupils thrive and prepare for adulthood.

Admissions Criteria

Beaucroft aims to provide a place for children with identified special educational needs. Admissions are referred by the local authority SEN Provision Lead up to three weeks prior to the Admissions Panel date. Admissions Panels for the School are held fortnightly, term time. A child must either be pending an Education Health Care Plan or have an Education Health Care Plan for a place to be allocated. The School/College cannot guarantee places for children when there are no places available. Decisions on admission follow the panel and are subject to suitable arrangements meeting the child’s needs. Appeals are possible through the SEN Provision Lead.
