Clubs
Breakfast Club runs from 7:45am to 8:45am; breakfast is served (toast, cereal and juice) and children need to be signed in by 8:20am to receive breakfast. The club does not run on staff training days. The text also notes that after-school clubs finish at 4:30pm.
Admissions to Somerford Primary are managed by applying to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council. For admissions starting September 2026, apply by 15 January 2026 if your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022. All admissions are managed by BCP Council using their stated processes; for places in other year groups, there are limited spaces and Mrs Cutler can email/admit forms and arrange a start date. See BCP Council admissions links for policies and catchment details.
All school meals are ordered and paid for through Arbor accounts. If your child would like a hot meal, orders must be placed by Thursday for the following week’s lunches, and money must be on the Arbor account beforehand. If you have problems ordering, email [email protected]. Breakfast Club costs £1.50 per child, per day. Information about school payments and penalties for leave can be found on the Payments page and related documents (e.g., penalty warning letters and holiday forms).
