Ali Watts, Headteacher, describes St Ives Junior School as a nurturing, inclusive community where ‘Together Everyone Achieves More’ and the goal to be ‘Free to Fly’ underpin learning; emphasises belonging, confidence and helping every child reach their full potential.
Wraparound Care is before and after school care. Pupils can arrive at 7:45am for Breakfast Club and be collected from Wrap Around Care by 5:20pm. Breakfast is provided for Breakfast Club and a snack is provided for Wraparound. Booking for Breakfast Club and Wraparound is via the Reach More Parents (aka Weduc) app; Breakfast Club must be booked in advance with a maximum of 40 pupils per day. Wraparound booking requires registration via a form; bookings are made through the same Reach More Parents app.
PAN of 66 per year group; applications are made through Cornwall Council Admissions process; admissions appeals are managed by Cornwall County Council; in-year transfers are available (see the admissions section for 2025-26/2026-27 and in-year transfers).
