Welcome from Executive Headteacher Lisa Hodgkison emphasizes Springfield’s split-site structure, inclusive education for 4–19 with SLD/ASC; commitment to high standards, a safe positive environment, and outcomes based on the Every Child Matters framework; invitation to visit the school.
Springfield School provides on-site Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, plus a full-time school nurse. Crewe site also has a hydrotherapy pool and a MOVE programme; Forest School activities and work experience are offered; The Sixth Form includes a post-16 pathway (The Springboard Project) for 16+ students with EHCPs.
Springfield School caters for children and young people aged 4–19 with Severe Learning Difficulties and Complex needs. Admission is for pupils with a Statement of SEN or an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) for SLD, PMLD, complex needs including Language/Communication, and ASC, or a combination of these.
