Religious Education is broadly Christian in content though use is made of examples of accepted morality from other sources according to the Halton recommended syllabus. There is a Christian element in morning assemblies. Arrangements can be made with the Headteacher if parents wish to withdraw their children from religious education or related activities. Alternative provision by the pupil’s class teacher will be made for any children who are withdrawn.

The school operates two Speech & Language Resource Bases: Cedar Class (KS1) and Sycamore Class (KS2). Cedar Class is a KS1 Speech & Language Resource Base for 8 pupils with an EHCP naming speech, language and communication as primary need; Sycamore Class is KS2 Speech & Language Resource Base. Both are located within the main school building; Pupils access mainstream classes as appropriate.
