Trauma-informed but traditional school experience equivalent to mainstream with recognised qualifications at the end of KS4 Small classes with exceptional teaching staff, high levels of pastoral care and therapeutic support PAL (Preparation for Adulthood) curriculum units at KS4 including Independent Living, Numeracy and Money, Getting Around, Personal Safety, Preparation for the World of Work, Extremism, Persuasion and Influence Curriculum includes English, Reading, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Computer Science, Design and Technology, Food Technology, Art, Physical Education, PSHE, ACE, and Options

Wraparound Care

The residential units provide a wrap-around curriculum for young people which supports them in developing social and communication skills, independence skills, developing their confidence and self-esteem.

SEND Provision

The school operates residential and day provisions with a wrap-around curriculum, therapeutic support, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training for all staff.

Admissions Criteria

Referrals must be made through the Local Authority; pupil placements are funded by Local Authorities; potential pupils are invited to a number of taster days before a formal offer, followed by an admissions meeting and initial assessments in the first weeks.
