Admissions Criteria

Pupils generally join St Edward’s Nursery and Prep in Little Griffins Nursery Class after their second or third birthday, in Reception the September after their fourth birthday, or in Year 3 the September after their seventh birthday. Places in other year groups are sometimes available. Admissions steps: 1) Initial enquiry (Register interest; Registrar will contact you) 2) Personal tour (meet Headteacher) 3) Taster Session (Nursery with Nursery staff; main school with informal assessment; bring report from current setting) 4) Acceptance (Offer Letter; Terms and Conditions; Parental Acceptance Form; £60 registration fee) 5) Transition (settling-in sessions for Nursery; Step-Up Day in July for September entrants).
