Welcome to Katesgrove Primary School. Executive Headteacher Lisa Telling states that she is working at both Katesgrove and Southcote Primary School, is fully committed to the success of both schools, and aims to provide high-quality education and life skills for every child.
Admissions to Katesgrove Primary School are determined by Reading Borough Council. Children living in the designated area are given priority for admission but this does not guarantee a place. If there are more applicants living in the designated area than places available, a place will only be offered if the child meets higher over-subscription criteria than other applicants. The guide for parents and carers gives information about how places have been allocated at schools over previous years and from this you can see if your designated area school has been over-subscribed in the past. Reading Borough Council manage all admissions and appeals.
