"Growing good people"
Headteacher Mr R. Jones welcomes visitors and describes The Hill as a safe, nurturing and purposeful learning environment with an inclusive, values-driven ethos of Growing Good People. He highlights the focus on growing the whole child, extended play-based learning through Key Stage One, and extensive on-site woodland that supports outdoor learning; PATHS is active in offering activities and fundraising.
Tree House Wrap Around Care staff (Wrap Around Care)
The Hill provides SEND support including inclusive first teaching, detailed ongoing assessment, feedback through marking and discussion about learning, regular contact with parents, intervention teaching assistants, a range of intervention programmes (1-to-1 or small group), and collaboration with other agencies such as speech therapists, educational psychology services and CAMHS; anti-bullying policies and Therapeutic Thinking approach are part of our SEND provision.
