Welcome to St Lawrence Church of England Primary School. We are a village school serving the community of Wymington, led by an Executive Headteacher. Our ethos is Christian, with high expectations and a belief that learning should be enjoyable, in partnership with families and the wider community.
Clubs
Breakfast Club: 7:30am–8:50am (£5). Lunch Club (Nursery): 12:00–13:00 (£5). After School Club: 15:20–16:30 (£5) or 15:20–17:30 (£10). Based in the school hall; outdoor activities also mentioned; contact via the school office for registration and fees.
Nursery admissions are direct to the school with termly intake (September, January, April) and options for 15 hours (part-time) or 30 hours (full-time) for children from 3 years. Reception admissions are handled by the local authority (online) in their resident area; for 2026–27, closing date 15 January 2026; National Offer Day 16 April 2026. In-year admissions are managed by Bedford Borough/Synergy for North Northamptonshire; contact Mrs Blackburn in the office for guidance. Admissions Policy documents exist for 2025–26 and 2026–27.
School meals are free for all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 under UIFSM. Nursery, Year 3–6 meals cost £2.61 per day. Meals must be ordered online (Kingswood Catering). FSM eligibility checks can be requested; contact the office for details. Dinners must be ordered 1 week in advance and cannot be ordered through the school office.
