Curriculum Highlights

The curriculum uses six main topics studied over a two-year cycle: Our Blue Planet; To Boldly Go; Civilisation & Expansion; The Changing World; Inventors and Inventions; Through Ages Past English and Maths are taught daily; connections to topics through the texts studied and where possible with Maths; some connections to Art and DT Religious Education, French, Computing, Physical Education, PSHE and Music are taught as standalone subjects Forest School is a feature of the curriculum, with regular sessions in the Wild Wood; every class uses Forest School once a month and spends the day outside Each topic begins with a 'Stunning Start' and ends with a 'Fantastic Finish' There is a science and sports week dedicated in the summer term
