"Belonging, Learning, Succeeding"
A warm welcome from Head Teacher Mrs Debbie Cosbie-Ross. The message highlights Broadmead Lower School as a happy, inclusive and vibrant community where Values Education underpins the curriculum, daily practice and behaviour. It emphasizes strong home–school partnerships, ensuring every child feels secure, valued and able to succeed, and invites visits to the school.
The school has an agreed admission number of 60 for entry to the reception year. The Local Authority will apply the following criteria (in rank order): Looked after children or children who were previously looked after, including Looked After Children from Outside of England; Pupils living in the catchment area with siblings at the school; Other pupils living in the catchment area; Other siblings; Any other children. If there are equal rights to admission after applying these criteria, the tie break will be distance from the home to the school measured in a straight line. Pupil with an EHCP named for this school will be admitted even if the school is full. Pupils identified for admission through the Fair Access Protocol will also be admitted even if the school is full.
