Roundhay School is an all‑through school (ages 4–18) that aims to do ‘whatever it takes’ to provide an exceptional education. It highlights warm relationships, a calm environment, high standards, kindness, respect and pride in wearing the Roundhay uniform. The school notes outcomes above national averages, holds World Class Schools accreditation and Ofsted Outstanding status, and emphasizes developing ‘Recognisably Roundhay’ in pupils and staff. All-Through Curriculum Overview (Ages 4–18) across Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form curriculums Primary Curriculum is ambitious and sequenced with strong emphasis on oracy, literacy and language; half‑term themes linked to UN Sustainability Goals KS3 is broad and balanced, with full National Curriculum; languages offered (French or Spanish) and option to study both from Year 8; wider subjects such as Business & Enterprise, Health & Social Care and Media/Film Studies KS4 focuses on a broad, rich curriculum with EBacc emphasis (English, Maths, Science, a Humanity and a Modern Foreign Language) and a wide range of courses beyond EBacc KS5 offers A Levels in 25 subjects and vocational courses in 7 areas; Extended Project Qualification and Core Maths; one week of work experience; Community Engagement Programme Reading at Roundhay includes a dedicated Reading Curriculum, a Read 6 programme for Sixth Form, and a strong emphasis on reading for pleasure and literacy across the school
