Church of England (Anglican) Primary School
On behalf of the staff, pupils and governors, I would like to wish you a warm welcome to Burley and Woodhead C of E Primary School. Please take some time to browse our website – we hope you find it informative and that it gives you a little insight into life at our lovely school.
Admissions are allocated by priority: 1) Looked after children and previously looked after children (PLAC); 2) Children with exceptional social or medical needs, supported by a professional; 3) Siblings of children on the school roll; 4) Children whose parents are members of the Church of England or other Christian denominations; 5) Other children. If places exceed the number of places, priority is determined by straight-line distance from the home to the main entrance of the school; in cases of equidistant addresses, the Local Authority may use random selection.
