Curriculum Highlights

Broad and balanced curriculum in line with the statutory framework for the EYFS and National Curriculum. Theme-based learning with topics such as Superheros to Ancient Worlds to provide context and motivation. EYFS includes seven areas of learning and development with prime areas (communication and language; physical development; personal, social and emotional development) and four specific areas (literacy; mathematics; understanding the world; expressive arts and design). Phonics taught daily using Essential Letters and Sounds; reading books sent home apply and reinforce known phonemes; access to ELS decodable books.
