Curriculum Highlights

An engaging, creative and challenging curriculum with a range of approaches designed to inspire learning. One day a week, each year group is taught by specialists for PE, RE and Music to support class teachers' planning time.

Wraparound Care

After-School Care: Yes

DASH is on-site after-school childcare. There is a fast transition from class to DASH (on-site) so infants can be collected and playing within about 10 minutes of school ending. Juniors may also walk to DASH themselves, where a staff member will greet them. Each evening a light snack is offered, with variety and input from children toward healthy snack choices.

SEND Provision

The school delivers SEND provision through high-quality teaching and carefully considered routines to support access to learning for all pupils. They work with other professionals (Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Local Authority Specialist Support Services) to address needs. Most support happens in class, but some may be delivered in different environments such as small groups. Parents are encouraged to talk to the class teacher or SENCO; there is a formal complaints procedure if concerns are not resolved. A copy of the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Policy is available on the policies page.
