Wraparound Care

SEND Provision

Pupil Premium is extra money for schools to help disadvantaged pupils of all abilities achieve their full potential. Funding is decided by how many disadvantaged pupils are eligible and is allocated per pupil premium-eligible child. The recovery premium grant is an additional funding source used in the 2021-22 through 2023-24 academic years. Schools must spend the pupil premium and recovery premium across three areas: (1) high-quality teaching, (2) targeted academic support, such as tutoring, and (3) tackling non-academic barriers to learning (e.g., attendance, behaviour, wellbeing). Eligibility includes pupils currently eligible for free school meals, looked after by the local authority, or previously looked after by the local authority or other state care; recovery premium coverage also includes certain other groups.
