The school is a Voluntary Aided Church School dating back to 1870, with close links with Manchester diocese and St. Mary’s Church. The Priest in Charge, Miss Cath Hewison, is closely involved in the life of the school. There is a weekly act of worship in church. The Diocese vision is to be a worshipping, growing and transforming Christian presence at the heart of every community, wanting to be a Church for a Different World.
There are 4 key areas of SEND. These are: Social, Emotional and Mental Emotional health; Communication and Interaction; Sensory and/or physical; Cognition and Learning.
