Hurst Knoll St James' is a Voluntarily Controlled Church of England Primary School linked to St. James' Church in the Parish of the Good Shepherd and St. John the Evangelist Church at Hurst Cross. Reverend Carol Schofield visits regularly, leads assembly once a month and is a school Governor. The school works closely with the Parish and Manchester Diocese to meet spiritual needs; Collective Worship is Christian in nature.
