Dimensions 'Learning Means the World' curriculum with four phases: Explorers (EYFS), Pathfinders (Years 1-2), Adventurers (Years 3-4), Navigators (Years 5-6). Maths taught using White Rose; English taught using The Write Stuff. WHISK sheets and curriculum newsletters are used as part of curriculum delivery. Curriculum progression is organized around the four phases and pathways (Explorers, Pathfinders, Adventurers, Navigators).

Our school SENDCo is Kirsten Reid. We are inclusive and work with families and outside agencies to identify children with SEND early, monitor progress, and provide appropriate provision to overcome barriers to learning and ensure pupils with SEND have full access to the National Curriculum, including working with outside agencies and maintaining a Local Offer.

Admissions Criteria

Applications for a place at St George's C of E Primary School are made via Salford City Council. The reception applications for September 2026 open on 1 September 2025 and close on 15 January 2026. On 16 April 2025, all on-time online applicants can view their offer via the Family Portal; late applications will be processed after on-time applications, and offers may be received after 16 April 2026.
