SEND Provision

Hilton Lane Primary School uses Quality First Teaching as the initial approach for SEND. When required, the SENDCo, in collaboration with the child and with the input of parents/carers, plans tailored interventions, strategies and targets with a range of teaching approaches and additional support (adaptive teaching, small group work, 1:1 support, intervention groups and additional activities) to help the child succeed. The school is committed to inclusive education and providing appropriate special educational provision where needed.
