"Where every child is known, heard, seen and loved."
Catholic Life is at the heart of all we do; every aspect of school life reflects our shared mission to live out the Gospel through prayer, service, and community.
Welcome to St Paul’s Academy. Interim Headteacher Miss M Ryan states that every student is truly God’s work of art; our mission is to ensure each child is known, heard, seen and loved. Core values are community of welcome, seekers of truth, and justice makers, and we are committed to nurturing the whole child and spiritual well-being.
Breakfast is available; after-school activities offered.
St Paul’s Academy is inclusive; most additional learning needs are met within the classroom by Quality First Teaching and subject specialist teaching assistants; students with high learning needs are usually taught in smaller classes with specialist SEND TAs; students are not withdrawn from lessons unless they are attending a specialist intervention.
Oversubscription criteria include two categories: Catholic Entrants prioritized by parish and mass attendance, and Community Entrants; Looked After and Previously Looked After children; proximity to the school; sibling attendance; other factors; in-year admissions; appeals process; and Local Authority Fair Access Protocol.
