Curriculum Highlights

All subjects are taught as separate subjects, each led by a subject leader planning knowledge and vocabulary from F1 to Y6. Curriculum progression with key concepts revisited across years to deepen understanding. Three 10-week themes per subject, each with its own enquiry question; links between subjects to deepen understanding. Educational visits and Let’s Say activities to enhance learning and build cultural capital. Phonics and reading prioritized: daily Little Wandle phonics; reading with Accelerated Reader and Bug Club; use of MyON; home reading expectations and resources. Park Rangers provides wraparound care (before and after school). Before school (7:50-8:55am) £4; after school (3:15-6:00pm) £9; late collection after 6pm £5. Bookings and payments via the Arbor app. Morning sessions include breakfast; after school sessions include a light snack. Places must be booked in advance; 48 hours’ notice for cancellations.
